The short answer
Zuops or LoopMessage? Here's who each one is for.
Choose Zuops if you want to text customers from your own number, need several lines for a team, or want the CRM, AI replies and automations included. Choose LoopMessage if you don't have a Mac to leave running, are building your own app on an API, or need WhatsApp or SMS fallback from the same sender.

- You want texts to come from your own iPhone number
- You need a line for each teammate without a bill for each
- You want an inbox, AI replies and automations, not just an API

Why people switch

- 01
A bill for every sender
Light is $59.99 a sender, a phone number $15 more and Init conversations $30 more: $104.99 a month for one line that can text first, plus $45 once. Three teammates means three of those.
- 02
Texting first is an add-on with a warm-up
A new sender starts at 2 conversations a day and reaches 50 after 21 days, about 15 minutes apart, with replies above about 30%. Zuops also paces new lines, but starting conversations is included.
- 03
At the cap, you can't reply
LoopMessage counts every contact you talk to in the past 24 hours; past the limit you can still receive but not reply. On Zuops the limit is only on new conversations, and replies are never blocked.
- 04
An API, not an inbox
You build the inbox, the AI and the follow-ups, or pay for a CRM to plug it into. In Zuops they're there on day one, with booking and pipelines.

Switching
Moving from LoopMessage. Step by step.
- 1
Pick the Mac
Any Mac on macOS 14 or later, signed in to Messages with the iPhone number you want to text from. One Mac runs 4 to 6 numbers, one user each; a Mac mini that stays plugged in is ideal.
- 2
Connect it
In Settings → Phone → iMessage, download the Mac app, type the code and follow the checklist until it's green.
- 3
Bring your contacts
Import them as a CSV. Imports skip automations, so nobody gets texted by accident.
- 4
Choose who texts from which number
Give each number to everyone, to its owner, or to a few teammates.
- 5
Send automations as iMessage
In each Send text step, pick Automatic, iMessage or Text message. AI replies use the number too.
- 6
Then cancel LoopMessage
Once your Macs are green and your automations send as iMessage, remove the senders from your LoopMessage dashboard.
How much does LoopMessage cost?
A Light sender is from $59.99 a month (up to 300 active contacts a day) and Regular from $99.99 (up to 1,000). A phone number is $15 a month more and Init conversations, needed to text first, $30 more, each with a one-time fee.
Can I keep my LoopMessage number?
No. LoopMessage's senders are theirs. On Zuops you text from your own iPhone number, the one your customers may already have saved.
Do I need a Mac for iMessage on Zuops?
Yes: any Mac on macOS 14 or later, signed in to Messages and left plugged in, and one Mac runs 4 to 6 numbers. That's the trade for free numbers; with LoopMessage you don't need one.
How many new conversations can I start a day?
On Zuops, 30 a day for a line's first two weeks, then 50, and replies are unlimited. LoopMessage warms a sender up to 50 a day over 21 days.
Does Zuops work with WhatsApp?
Not today. If you need WhatsApp from the same sender, LoopMessage has it for $10 a month.
