Switching
Moving from Sendblue. Step by step.
- 1
Pick the Mac
Any Mac on macOS 14 or later, signed in to Messages with the iPhone number you want to text from. One Mac runs 4 to 6 numbers, one user each; a Mac mini that stays plugged in is ideal.
- 2
Connect it
In Settings → Phone → iMessage, download the Mac app, type the code and follow the checklist until it's green.
- 3
Bring your contacts
Import them as a CSV. Imports skip automations, so nobody gets texted by accident.
- 4
Choose who texts from which number
Give each number to everyone, to its owner, or to a few teammates.
- 5
Send automations as iMessage
In each Send text step, pick Automatic, iMessage or Text message. AI replies use the number too.
- 6
Then cancel Sendblue
Once your Macs are green and your automations send as iMessage, cancel the Sendblue lines.
How much does Sendblue cost?
The AI Agent plan is $100 a month per dedicated line, inbound-first, with 1,000 inbound contacts a day. Enterprise, which adds full outbound messaging, is priced on request. There's a free sandbox for testing.
Can I text new leads first on Zuops?
Yes, on every line: 30 new conversations a day for its first two weeks, then 50, with replies unlimited and a first text kept short and plain.
Do I need a Mac?
Yes: a Mac on macOS 14 or later, signed in to Messages, and one Mac runs 4 to 6 numbers. With Sendblue you don't need one; Zuops uses yours so every number is free.
Does Zuops need A2P registration for iMessage?
No. iMessages go over Apple's network, not a carrier's, so SMS registration doesn't apply to them. Regular texts from a Zuops number still need it.
